It is happening! For all people who are not watching the Fantasy Tennis Discord Channel - there is now a very early version of a private server for Fantasy Tennis! Although it currently has a very limited set of functions (e.g. no online play) and is a bit tricky to set up, I can confirm that it is actually working with the Thai and EU clients of Fantasy Tennis.
Please be careful when downloading any kind of software from unknown sources.

This is an outdated code preview version.
Due to my business trips I was not able to port everything in time.
What is working:
- Character creation
- Single Play Basic mode without rewards
Stuff I already finished but need to port and add to the repo:
- Tutorial
- Single Play all modes
- Messenger including friends and messages
- Match Play Lobby including room list and online user list
I will not answer any questions until I have released the fully ported version!
This is a code preview version, not a working release! (although you can get it running by adding data to the database tables)
The only reason I am releasing it now is to show you that something is happening.
I will be on a business trip again starting tomorrow.
Next week I will finally have a 4 days break where I will try to implement everything that is missing now.
The next release will also contain a guide to get it running, a launcher to automatically configure the database as well as binaries so people without coding experience are able to test the server.
Conclusion: Wait for the final version but feel free to have a look at the code until then.
Additional information:
The game is dead for years now so a few more weeks or months without progress will not hurt anybody.
It is quite annoying getting messages asking for progress, release dates or reasons for delays.
I have a full time job, a family and I am on business trips a lot lately, stuff is done when it is done.
It is a just a hobby not more, not less.
